CapEx Project - Phase 1 Complete!
We are excited to announce that Phase 1 of our CapEx Project is complete! This phase consisted of replacing the original aeration blowers & installing new aeration blowers, as well as updating the blower building. The project was completed in Fall 2021. The new aeration blowers instantly began doing their part in creating a great air flow in our lagoons, which is a key part in the Wastewater Treatment Process.
CapEx Project - Phase 2 Underway!
We are currently working towards Phase 2 of our CapEx Project. This phase will consist of sludge removal, liner replacement & installing upgraded aerators in both lagoons. Financing has been established, and the bidding process has been awarded to Kingsbury Construction - from Waitsfield, VT. Phase 2 is expected to be completed in Fall 2022.
CapEx Project - Project Schedule
We have established a Start Date of 5/16/2022! Please see below, the project schedule. We will update the schedule upon completion by providing the completion date and highlighting each project.
June 20, 2022 - Update
RWS recently had a meeting with the General Contractor, who has informed us that the project has been pushed back slightly. We have updated the new project schedule with the new projected dates.
July 20, 2022 - Update
Lagoon #1 projects are complete! The lagoon has been filled and the new aeration system is running great. Kingsbury Construction has been working on preparing Lagoon #2 & #3 upgrades.

CapEx Project - Phase 3 Underway!
We are continuing our CapEx projects and have moved to Phase 3. Phase 3 focuses on the Pump Stations. Resort Waste has 10 pump stations within our infrastructure. Each Pump Station will undergo pump replacements and control box replacements.
Each control box will be upgraded to a Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) system. This system provides the operators with up to date and current information for each pump station. And can be accessed remotely via computer, phone and tablet. This system upgrade will bring the RWS Wastewater Treatment Facility further into the 21st Century, something we are very proud of!
